This retreat is open to all who want to get away to a nice quiet place where you can spend time on your own or with others exploring the spiritual side of life. Please feel free to invite family and friends who could benefit from a few days in a quiet rural retreat with a range of spiritual activities based around the teachings of Eckankar.
Programme The programme will be based on your needs. On the first evening of the retreat we will discuss what each of us wants from the retreat. We will note all the requests and then build our programme around those. We will also be taking advantage of the quiet and peaceful surroundings for walks around the grounds, around the village of Casletown and along the river Nore. Location
Centrally located, just off the M7 & M8 motorways, 60 minutes drive from Limerick, 90 minutes from Dublin & Waterford, 100 minutes from Cork and 2 hours from Galway. Is just 25 minutes drive away from the Slieve Bloom mountains The De La Salle Retreat & Conference Centre has spacious grounds and is located in the beautiful village of Castletown beside the River Nore; They have a full-time chef and a large dining room and they can facilitate special dietary needs. Has a large lounge with tea- & coffee-making facilities, conference rooms and break-out rooms for smaller group meetings. It laso has good Wi-Fi coverage.
